Taking inspiration from the dry styles of Pinot Gris from Alsace. This vintage was slightly lower in yield, providing an excellent concentration of flavour. A small amount of the wine is fermented in barrel for complexity.
The 'Beurre Bosc' is named after the pear orchard that was 'repurposed' for Pinot Gris vines when Pike & Joyce was established. Our site in the Lenswood subregion of the Adelaide Hills has proven to be very well suited to Pinot Gris, with this release being our 20th consecutive vintage. [more]
