Get 31 burst on to the bar scene in the mid 1970s, when clear spirits and fondues were in fashion. Compared to the original ‘Get 27’, Get 31 is a more intense, cool mint flavoured version with a higher alcohol content (24% ABV) for a paradoxically warming finish. It’s a great base for cocktails calling on mint flavour but it’s equally appreciated for its digestive properties.
