Bellvale Athena’s Vineyard Chardonnay is a classic expression of Gippsland at its finest – generous, textural and deeply satisfying. True to the region, it fills the palate with luscious layers of fleshy stone fruit and roasted cashew, underpinned by a beautifully judged flinty edge.

The nose is inviting and gently buttery, opening to restrained hints of soft vanilla custard, white peach and a lift of ginger spice. On the palate, those creamy stone fruit characters are balanced by bright acidity and a clean minerality that carries through to a long, elegant finish.

Established in 1998, Bellvale is a proudly family-owned winery, crafted under the care of principal winemaker and viticulturist John Ellis. Nestled in the lush Tarwin River valley of South Gippsland, this picturesque pocket is rightly recognised as one of Australia’s leading cool-climate regions.
