We’re continuing our journey around the world for our first Rare Breed of the year with a trip to the Pacific Northwest. With over 40% of the world’s hops hailing from this location, inspiration was not hard to find.
This West Coast IIPA is a showcase of hops, celebrating the beautiful things they can do. A combination of Columbus, Chinook and Centennial hops were used to land piney aromas, transporting you to hop country – and of course we used Cryo Hops to really dial up the intensity!
The fresh pine notes are highlighted by pops of citrus, and the malt backbone complements the clean hop bitterness.
From first sip to last, this beer is like the sun splitting the forest trees on a fresh morning hike, and who could say no to that?
