The fruit used to produce this enticing Laneway Chardonnay was harvested in the cool of the night and barrel fermented, followed by extended contact with lees. This resulted in the creation of a pale straw coloured wine showing light green tinges. The attractive bouquet exhibits mesmerising aromas of tropical fruits coupled with apple and spice notes. The generous and mouth filling palate contains enticing fruit flavours, balanced by light oak notes. The finish is clean, lengthy and textured.
This delicious Chardonnay has the potential to be cellared for 2 to 6 years.
It tastes excellent, served slightly cold with spaghetti vongole or char-grilled calamari.
