Freezing squeezed fruit juice below the freezing point is a technology that locks in the freshness of the juice, which is what “Hyoketsu” has been focusing on for 20 years. The juice is frozen at sub-zero temperatures (-18°C) to lock in the freshness of the fruit and the astringency and bitterness of the squeezed juice are removed to achieve the refreshing taste that is typical of Hyoketsu.
