Named after the eighty foot cascade on the Clyde River in Scotland, Corra Linn was established in 2016 in Relbia by John Wielstra. This is a no expense spared operation that prides itself in precision, small batch production.In the glass, Corra Linn whisky has a beautiful shade of gold amber. While on the nose it has a rich deep aroma, that brings memories of a luxurious port soaked fruity Christmas pudding. The taste does not disappoint, with the perfect balance of sweetness and spice. An initial oaky taste comes through merging with cardamom, cinnamon, garam marsala with a hint of curry and speculoos. It has a great mouthfeel leaving a satisfying, well rounded and long lasting flavour with ginger nut tones.
