Bunnahabhain 12 year old is a very lightly-peated malt that serves as perhaps the mildest introduction to the Islay style. The nose offers a fresh and aromatic experience with a subtle whiff of smoke. The taste starts with a light fruit and nut appeal that leads to a malty sweetness, finishing into a rich full-bodied, lingering experience. Bunnahabhain 12 year old was awarded the top prize in its category at the World Whisky Awards 2010.
